eden-scalatore said: Indeed she did had no idea what he had said, but heard his apology. “Oh, its fine, mio fratello. I see you’re enjoying the sights!” She happily trotted over to him, and took a seat, watching the sun dip below the horizon as well.

He was deeply lost in this fleeting moment. He wasn’t Assassin, He wasn’t a warrior. He was a mere man sitting upon a rooftop staring at the empyrean’s colors. It was nice to have this moment with a female, young or old didn’t matter to him. A loud sigh was heard from his person, pools of deep, pale grey kept singular focus upon the sun’s descent. Alas, though the sunsets everyday, this moment, this mindset,  was seldom shared with anyone, including himself. While reality crept back into his perception, the lids of his eyes fell. His head slowly turned towards his right, hood curling around his skull. His piercing greys fixated upon her face out of a matter of respect.

“So.. what is new with d’e Branch?”

Eden met her crystalline eyes of blue to Vlad’s half hidden gaze, only to break it by looking back up to the horizon. The girl took much comfort in this, realizing that she had not got gotten to know Vlad all to well, and this was a perfect time to do so.
“Nothing really. Just recovering from a gunshot or two. I’m not really supposed to be out here, but you seemed like you wanted some company. I think its a good sacrifice; bed rest for company.”

As the woman’s gaze returned to the horizon, he followed her gesture with deep pools of grey skimming off the roofs and onto the horizon.”I remember when I was first shot. Very painful..” His right eye twitched, wincing at the bitter memory of the agony he felt from the lead.

“Extremely… They got me in my bad shoulder too.” Eden rolled her left shoulder back painfully, a loud pop erupting from her shoulder, and a low, pained grunt from her throat. She observed how intently he scanned the sunset, and smiled, taking a liking to the idea that she wasn't the only one who enjoyed quiet sunsets.
