Eden trotted ahead to the meat stall with a pep in her voice.
“Give me about… two racks of lamb.”
The meat vendor looked terrified, and slapped down the meats in front of Eden and quickly wrapped them up, saying, “Uh.. Oh… N-no charge…”
“Oh, grazie!” She said back to him with a bright smile, taking the meats over to the reptile.
“Here, Bestia. Eat up.”
Alligator’s depth perception left something to be desired, and Orias knew if she tried to grab the food from Eden’s hand, she could very well grab the hand as well. It would be easier and safer to simply toss the food and have the alligator catch it.
Eden nodded, and set the meats in front of the beast. “You must be famished, Bestia. You looked like you havent eaten in quite a while.” She said this, sat next to the beast and rested a warm hand on her back.
She hungrily lunged forward, turning her head to grab the meat in her jaws, and then tossing it down her throat whole. Getting fed was a lot easier than trying to catch her food. After she swallowed the last of the meats, she closed her eyes and growled happily. The low frequency sound vibrated throughout her body, and also caused a small amount of dirt in between her scales to fall away.
Eden laughed as the gator gulped down the rest of the meats, and growled happily. The Assassin gently petted the beast’s back, seeing that she wasn't bad after all.
“Now what is it you need? A good nap?” She laughed, and patted her reptilian friend’s back.
